About Me

Emily Green

Hi, I'm Emily, a Learning Experience Designer who believes that effective training isn't about checking boxes. It's about changing behaviors and driving real results.

With over a decade of experience creating learning solutions for organizations like Apple, Johnson & Johnson, Intuit, and T-Mobile, I've learned that the best training experiences don't just inform, they transform. My approach goes beyond traditional compliance education to design experiences that actually stick and make a measurable impact on organizational performance.

What Makes My Work Different

I bring an anthropological lens to learning design, focusing on understanding why people do what they do before prescribing solutions. This means I'm as interested in the workflow, the culture, and the real-world context as I am in the content itself. I use Action Mapping methodology and the Kirkpatrick Model to ensure every learning experience I create ties directly to business outcomes, not just completion rates.

My background spans healthcare education reaching 180 million women globally, supply chain training across 251 suppliers in 31 countries, and leadership development programs that have achieved 15-20% improvement in key metrics. Whether I'm designing interactive manager simulators, gamified medical training experiences, or compliance programs that people actually want to complete, my goal remains the same: create learning that changes what people do, not just what they know.

Beyond the Design Work

I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Instructional Design and Technology at Full Sail University, and I'm a certified Google UX professional. I'm passionate about accessibility, from creating audio syllabi for students with visual impairments to ensuring every learning experience meets ADA standards. I also believe in using plain language and conversational design, because learning shouldn't feel like homework.

When I'm not designing training experiences, you might find me experimenting with audio production, exploring the intersection of serious games and medical education, or diving deep into how we can make learning more human-centered.

Let's Create Something That Works

If you're tired of training that gets completed but doesn't get applied, let's talk. I specialize in transforming information-heavy requirements into engaging, behavior-focused learning experiences that your people will actually use.
